1. 1
   Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

   Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

   Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing after your journey or exploring optional excursions around Nairobi, depending on your arrival time.

   Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

   After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel north through Kenya’s scenic countryside, passing through the central highlands and the Nanyuki area before continuing towards Samburu.

   Enjoy changing landscapes, from fertile agricultural areas to the dramatic, semi-arid northern frontier.

   Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, Beisa oryx, and other fascinating wildlife.

   Day 3: Explore Samburu National Reserve

   Enjoy an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the remainder of the morning relaxing while enjoying the surrounding scenery.

   After lunch, head out for another game drive to explore more of the reserve and discover its unique wildlife.

   Samburu is particularly famous for its Special Five: the gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich.

   Day 4: Samburu – Nyahururu Falls

   After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south towards Nyahururu, passing through the landscapes around Mount Kenya and Nanyuki.

   Stop at the Equator for photographs before continuing to your lodge near the spectacular Nyahururu Falls, also known as Thomson’s Falls.

   After lunch, enjoy a guided walk through the surrounding grounds and visit the falls and nearby hippo pools, subject to local conditions. Guests who prefer not to hike down to the falls can enjoy views from above.

   Day 5: Nyahururu – Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

   After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive through this renowned wildlife sanctuary.

   Look out for black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Flamingoes may also be seen when seasonal conditions are favourable.

   Enjoy lunch at a lodge before continuing with wildlife viewing as you exit the park.

   Proceed to Lake Naivasha, arriving in the afternoon. After check-in, enjoy a one-hour boat ride on the lake, where you may spot hippos and a variety of waterbirds.

   Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve

   After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and travel towards the legendary Maasai Mara, crossing the scenic Mau Escarpment and passing through Narok, the gateway to Maasailand.

   Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife.

   Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous plains game species.

   During the Great Migration season, usually between July and October, the reserve may also host spectacular movements of wildebeest and zebras.

   Day 7: Full-Day Wildlife Experience in the Maasai Mara

   Enjoy an early morning game drive to explore the reserve as wildlife becomes active in the cooler hours of the day.

   Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive, or arrange a full-day game drive with a packed lunch if available and agreed in advance.

   Discover the Mara’s remarkable wildlife, dramatic savannah landscapes, and rich birdlife.

   • Optional activity: Hot-air balloon safari at an additional cost, subject to availability and advance booking.
8. 8
   Day 8: Another Day in the Maasai Mara

   Spend another exciting day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.

   With more time in the reserve, you have additional opportunities to search for the Big Five and observe the behaviour of the wildlife in its natural habitat.

   Your guide will help you explore different areas of the reserve, depending on wildlife movements and prevailing conditions.

9. 9
   Day 9: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Departure

   🍽 Breakfast

   After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and drive back to Nairobi through the scenic Rift Valley and surrounding countryside.

   Arrive in Nairobi around midday, subject to road and weather conditions.

   You will be dropped off at the airport for your onward journey or at an agreed hotel in Nairobi.

   End of safari services.

   Please book departing flights from approximately 4:30 p.m. onwards, allowing sufficient time for the return road journey and airport check-in.
